MINDSIntern, MINDS Leadership Development Program: The MINDS Foundation is now offering a new opportunity to work with us through our MINDS Leadership Development Program (MLDP). This program is designed to introduce enthusiastic students, who are interested in helping those in need, to the Non-profit world and the responsibilities associated with it. Students who participate in this program can fast track their way to associate positions at our organization. Through the experiences with us, we hope to mold these students into future leaders in this industry whether it is at MINDS or other nonprofits. (Deadline: Tuesday, March 25)

 

blueprintMath Fellow, Blueprint: Blueprint Schools Network, Inc. (Blueprint) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping school districts close the achievement gap in their lowest-performing schools. Using a blueprint of comprehensive reform strategies, we partner with school districts to plan, implement, and monitor the progress of whole school turnaround with the goal of improving educational and life opportunities for students.One of Blueprint’s most significant supports resides in the Blueprint Fellows Program, a comprehensive tutoring program that aims to accelerate student achievement in mathematics. I am the Civic Engagement Fellow for 2013-2014. While a student at Wesleyan I double majored in Psychology and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and completed a joint thesis during my senior year. I am interested in issues of social justice, mental health, media, and global welfare.
